Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your email address and sign-in details, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
• Billing: your plan, subscription status and Stripe customer id. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.
• Usage: for every generation we record the time, mode, model, plan, token counts, response time and whether it finished. We also keep credit usage and daily limits.
• Feedback: thumbs up or down, and the reason if you type one.

Your prompts and results

Your input, including any screenshots you attach, is sent to an AI model to produce the output. Screenshots are never stored. We do not store the text of your input or output unless you tick the box that lets us keep it to improve the product. If you do not tick it, only the usage details above are saved.

When you do consent, we may read those examples to find problems and improve our prompts and models. We do not use them to train our own AI models, and we do not publish them.

Who handles your data

• Vercel hosts the site and routes requests to AI model providers (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) through its AI Gateway. Your input reaches them to generate the result.
• Clerk handles accounts and sign-in.
• Stripe handles payments.
• Neon stores our database.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your data.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and billing records while your account exists and as the law requires. Kept prompts and results stay until you ask us to remove them. To delete your account or your data, email support@specwise.app.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies.
